Driving in France - Legal Requirements
When driving in France, it is compulsory to have:
-
a GB sticker;
-
a reflective waistcoat or jacket for each occupant of the car;
-
Cash (or cards) sufficient to pay on-the-spot fines - otherwise your car may be siezed;
The reflective jacket must be carried inside the car, so that you can put it on before leaving the vehicle in the event of a breakdown or accident. Please note also that children under the age of ten must not travel in the front of the car.
